I use Cubase for sequencing light shows.
The drum editor is amazing for this reason. I love the ability to change the name of each note to the specific articulation of each light fixture I’m working with.
What would be even more amazing is if it were possible to do the same thing with the CCs (in both the event part and automation lanes).
I’d like to be able to modify the name of a controller to something like “Spot 1 Dimmer”, etc.
This would be incredibly helpful with workflow.
