FR-Articulations

Is it possible we might someday see options like this when mass-placing articulations?

Always a huge time saver in the past.

It already exists…?

(And you can set the default to whichever you want)

Where, exactly, would you set it as a default? I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Would this work as well for staccato and accents? Other articulations? The old Finale dialog popped up when you mass selected notes and added an articulation, making it extremely flexible. I could do an entire woodwind section on the fly, deciding which note lengths in the block got the articulation, and whether it happened at the beginning or ending of ties and slurs. I don’t see a way to have that sort of flexibility here.

Engraving Options>Articulations…

(Virtually every property that has a slider toggle has a corresponding option that you can set as a default - there are hundreds of them!)

Yep, finally found it. I looked literally everywhere, yet somehow didn’t seen the dang “articulations” in Engraving Options. WTH?

And I already had everything set correctly. Still doesn’t help with the original question: how to mass select and apply articulations only to the start of ends of slurs and ties. It works globally with ties, of course, but there doesn’t seem to be an option for slurs.

I used to have dedicated scripts that could do these things with a single keystroke. You can’t do this with Dorico, as mass adding of articulations places them on every note.
