I think it would be handy when selecting notes of the same value across multiple staves, when using the tuplet popover that you could “batch” convert them all in one go. Currently you have to do one at a time:
Have you tried to select the first note of each group and just press the button in the interface?
I had not but I just did - same behavior as above on my end. Does this do anything differently for you?
No, sorry, it was just an off-screen assumption.
This might be some help: With the caret we can create triplets on multiple staves at once. With the 3 existing eighths, start note input at the first note and extend the caret to all staves. A triplet takes up the first 2 of the 3 notes. If I select all the notes before using the caret, the last (orphaned) eighths remain selected, ready to shift back by an eighth to join in the triplet! (Does this make sense?)
Neat workaround– while not quite as fast as a batch convert on a selection, I think that’ll do in the meantime, and seems it will be a bit faster than one at a time especially with multiple staves!
