Feature request. It would be very nice to have an option for dashed hook line annotations.

Use the lines panel.
Properties panel allows you to control many options including if you want to add text and how it is placed on the line.
Let me explain. The ends of the lines (hooks, terminal lines etc) in Dorico called Line Annotations (I don’t know why — and yes, it is a bit confusing 
). There is an option to create a hook (even a long one), but no option to make it dashed. There are certain scenarios in which a dashed hook would be very useful. See my second example, left top corner — I want it dashed: and that’s going to be an extra work in Adobe Illustrator…or I have an option of creating a vertical line and positioning it manually, which is fine if you have 1 such line, but the problem is that I have these on each page
