I, for one think it would be INCREDIBLY useful to have an option to include/exclude the audio files from the “export selected tracks” command. You would be able to just select your tracks and busses that you want to import into another session; say if you’re mixing an album or even a few songs that all need the same general track/buss routing and FX. I know you can save mixer settings and track presets, but it currently doesn’t keep the busses or FX sends intact. Just food for thought. Also, it would be nice to be able to export the click track to Wav.
If you got in the habit of programming a MIDI click, you could.

Yeah, but that’s just another VSTi to load up and take up DSP…
Unless you already have a drum VSTi loaded. Plus, you could render the MIDI click or freeze it to free up the resources.
You’re right. But it’s still a work-around for what Reaper and Pro Tools have.
I don’t use it so I’m not sure, but selecting your own audio file for the click may include it in export. Maybe someone else will chime in.
Yeah, what I mentioned was a work around, but I mentioned it in case it was mission critical as well as for others.
Anyone else care to chime in?
