I’d like to see a global write toggle for ignore hidden tracks.

Right now, it’s eg far more complicated to write for oboe1+en.horn(oboe2) than for oboe1+oboe2. And when working on the cello+viola things get very problematic after creating a solo cello-staff (mostly hidden).

If you mean staves hidden by way of instrument filters, I agree – perhaps one day (although as always, nothing’s guaranteed).
Or maybe also those hidden by the current layout? I usually create a “working score” layout when I’m writing, so that I only have the flow I’m working on, and it only has the instruments I’m using for that flow. But when players are doubling on other instruments, the secondary instruments are still there in the layout, just hidden. It can cause the same sort of issues Geir Sol is talking about. It would be nice if those hidden staves could be ignored, even though there are no filters involved the way I typically work.
