I will wait to upgrade to N6 to see if these features are included. They have been removed from Cubase7 for whatever reason and that is not a good sign.
There needs to be an explanation from Steinberg.

I know that I won’t get an answer from them, and I know this has been requested for a few years now; But I just have to put it out there again:

Nuendo needs Import Session Data like Pro Tools has (i.e. being able to import and then direct many individual or group aspects of one session into another session) – it’s such a remarkable and massively (yes, I do mean massively) time-saving feature that I just might finally switch over to PT if Nuendo 6 doesn’t plan on incorporating it (along with the bitter convenience of being on the same DAW as most of the industry I work with here in L.A. – sigh). Users have been requesting it for years, so I know that Steinberg knows about it. I’ve reached the point where the work I’m doing absolutely requires this kind of thing…well, it doesn’t require it, but again it saves HUGE amounts of time and is a truly gigantic convenience that Pro Tools is leading the way with.

Any word at all from Steinberg on this? My guess is that Cubendo is so wrapped up in the programming architecture that already exists that it may be a difficult to program this feature in – but tons of professional users like myself have been requesting it and really do need this feature. Pro Tools put it in after years of not having it…I’m sure it can be done.

thanks for your comments. Project data import/export is something we are aware of. There need to be a faster and easier way to bring these data from one project to another without having to open the source project. While we aren’t able to provide such feature with the initial Nuendo 6 release, it is something we consider for the future development/updates.

There are other threads in which your participation would be welcomed. One is about VMX and another about automation. Then there are the ones about the questionable choices on gui.

Thank you for your reply. However, I’ll be waiting to upgrade for that future development/updates. VMX or the PT method, having one of those is essential to my work!
