I’ve tried to use MB for years, but it is still sooooooooo sloooooooooooooow. Is there any plan to improve it

Am I the only one who thinks that is that slow? In fact, I use to find things quicker using Spotlight, what it’s sad. And it’s pretty slow when loading presets within effects or instruments.
I use it primarily for SFX editing and grab audio and clip packages. It’s faster than sound miner. I made a database image that is stored on the drive, not sure if that is what makes it fast. Long and short, I’m not experiencing any speed issues.
The SFX drive does go to sleep when not in use, and sometimes I have to wait for it to spool up. It’s not in the room with me, it took a while to realize that was what was happening.
