Maybe this will be a long waited addition also for others 
I would like to see a metronome status overview in the song list, as each song has its own.
It would look like this:
And, if it’s possible, have this “M” active like a button. Just to switch metronome without activating song because it’s not possible while playing. In rehearsal sessions I had situations when next song should start with silence, but I forget to switch off metronome. I’m aware that this could destroy live performance. So visual overview could show.
Also vice versa - the metronome should start for one bar because it’s routed to dedicated output to have it in headphones, but if it’s off, may have big problems.
The “M” in similar view of tracks means Mute, so can decide to use an icon that depicts metronome like it’s already used - a triangle.
Of course always everything should be prepared and checked many times, but… we are humans and always is a little possibility that “s*** may happen”
Also the same way maybe someone need some other indications just to have visual control of whole project.
