It would be very useful if the new N5.5 Lanes could be muted as well as soloed.
There is a Solo button, but no Mute button. Why?
I know that it is possible to mute every part on a lane, but a [M] Mute button for an entire Lane would make things much easier.
I loose my comped parts because checking out other parts in a comp can change the muting on things I haven’t even touched! If the muting could only be changed by actually having to click with the mute tool (like the old lanes style), then I feel like we would have the best of all worlds.
The problem with the new lanes function could easily be solved with a preference that could be set to: Make Mute Absolute in Lanes.
