Hi everyone,
I usually record demo files for clients.
I often do that almost on the run, in other words, I open the template, jump on the booth, click rec button (the red button lights up) and perform… then I found there were no tracks armed!
I’d like if there was a way to prevent the recording if no tracks were armed.
You can arm them on the fly, that’s why it makes no sense at the moment.
Maybe a customizable warning would be good.
So one can keep the workflow like it is and others can adopt the function if needed.
I actually use the on the fly arm into record frequently when I have to tricky all at once band drop-ins. In a way I think its a feature beyond what ProTools allows that I really have always appreciated.
I used the arm on the fly for a while, but I had to disable since it happened to select different tracks while composing (editing and recording in loop) creating a mess.
Surely it would prevent the main issue, but it would lead to new things to be cared to.
