Please correct me if I’m missing something that’s already there, but as per both Gould’s and Ross’ recommendations, I’d welcome an Engraving option (and property) to place mid-phrase fermatas inside slurs. Currently in Dorico you can only achieve that by manually adjusting the fermata in Engrave mode, after which it’s likely that you have to adjust the slur as well.
Again, please enlighten me if there is already an option for this because that would save me from manually doing this in about 25 part layouts. If not then please consider this a feature request. Thanks as always!

Hi @Zalde, there is no tucking index between slur and fermata FWIK.
Interestingly, activating the Number of segments for the slur (and leaving it to 1), “frees” the fermata and puts it near the notehead. The manual adjusting of the slur is still needed in some cases, but at least is only one item to be positioned instead of 2 (slur and fermata):

Thanks for that tip @Christian_R! I wonder if that’s the intended behavior, but I doubt it (the same happens in situations where you would want the fermata to remain above the slur). It is good to know though.
