I’m not quite sure what I’m even asking for here, but there seems to be a trend with VST libraries using intelligence to interpret music. Famously NP has a “read-ahead” algorithm. I’ve recently purchased a couple of libraries from Straight Ahead Samples, and their “Smart Delay” plays a bar behind in order to calculate which samples to use for the melodic contour. It’s actually way better than using the regular samples that don’t account for this. Of course, that’s a catastrophic mess with notation software instead of a DAW where things are easily shifted around.
I’m not sure I know enough about the subject to even know what I’m requesting, but it would be cool if these could work with Dorico. Just throwing it out there and letting those who know more about the subject chime in, LOL!
