I asked for this in WL 7 forum 2,5 years ago already however it still did not make it even into WL 8.5 although it was promised to be implemented…

So, is this still considered to be implemented, and if yes then when / if no then why?

I dont know. Cubase does not follow the industry standard. The option should rather be in cubase.

Hmm that’s what you said 2,5 years incl. “why not” from which I assumed you tend to implement it in WL (I was not the only one asking for this).
What I ask(ed) for is a user option to change the orientation - not permanent switch.
