When working on large scores where all the staves won’t fit the screen, it can be really easy to accidentally edit dynamics or slurs that are not in view because you don’t remember (or even realize) that they are linked with the single object you are trying to edit. This becomes even more prominent when you edit these linkable objects directly in the instrumental part layout resulting in changes being made in other layouts without realizing it does.
I therefore propose that there should be a visual indication next to the linked object that you are editing, indicating that changes being made to that object will also affect other objects (perhaps shaped like a link?).
