Fragment of the audio from a video file is missing

I read some time ago in this forum that the audio of a video file once attached is saved separately.

I recently replaced the video file with another longer file and the audio is still that of the video attached the first time. I renamed the video file and it works, but I would like to keep the name of the video files in order to maintain the already established order of the team working on the project. Is there any way to clear the cache of this dorico file to clear the old audio file, so I can use the video file with its original name…?

I’m not sure where this is located on Windows, but on macOS, if you use the Terminal and type:

cd ~/Library/Caches/Dorico\ 5/

I think you will find the Soundtracks folder in there. Delete that and its contents.
