Frame Break to System Break

Is there a simple way to change a Frame Break into a System Break? Or even all Frame Breaks into System Breaks?

It would be useful when propagating formatting between instruments:
Often the “bar per system” is perfect on one instrument but the frame settings doesn’t match.
Usual example: propagating from piano to bass: the piano needs more vertical space so the bass ends up with half empty pages when propagating from piano to bass. Even if I don’t set the Frame Breaks manually they will be transferred to the target layout. If the Frame Breaks would be System Breaks Dorico would distribute the vertical spacing automatically. Erasing the Frame Breaks changes the layout so that it’s hard to find the places where to re-enter the System Breaks (usually in the middle of overfilled systems). It’s rather time consuming to clean up the mess.

Another solution would be if there’s a way to propagate layouts without Frame Breaks.

With the break selected in Engrave mode, check this property. In write mode, you can select the first break(signposts visible) and do cmd-shift-A a few times to select them all.

That’s it! Thanks a lot!

Don’t propagate. Put an “unnecessary” system break on the first system of the Piano, click it, Cmd+Shift+A for Select More, switch to Write, navigate to Bass part (most likely Cmd+Shift+] if it’s next), then Alt+click the first bar to paste all the breaks into the Bass without any being converted to Frame Breaks.
