Free cubase software download problem

I was trying to download the free software , that cubase offers , when I hit download , it goes to download assistant every time and won’t download anything? what am I doing wrong.?? thanks

Hi,

what kind of free software do you mean?
First of all, you need a MySteinberg account. It is free - please remember the email adress which is registered to your account.
Secondly, you need to find a Download Access Code which is necessary to register the software to your account. You can do this via Download Assistent. After succesfull registration you will see your product under “My Products”. From here on it’s just download and install.

Yes i have stienberg account and cubase 14 pro , they offer free plug ins on the site i don’t see anything about a license , thanks for the response

Hi,
maybe you are referring to vouchers? Please, have a look at your MySteinberg account and look out for vouchers. You can activate them right there if I’m not mistaken.
Other than that… can you be a tat more specific, please? What plugins are you talking about (specific name, please)? Maybe I am barking up the wrong tree…

I guess it is about the free VSTI instruments/Halion extentions. For most, you need a download access code, for Novel Piano e.g. not. It is a bit confusing:

For all of them, you need the Download Assistant. If you already have that installed (likely because of Cubase), go to “Software→VST Instruments” and install them
