Orchestral Tools, a sample library company, is giving away a free “Studio Orchestra” if you download their proprietary VST player.
It’s clearly a gateway drug to their paid-for libraries, but I thought I’d mention it.

Stand down.
It’s limited to a variety of ‘chord’ instruments, so there’s Strings on a Major Chord; Strings on a Minor chord, etc, and one octave of Unison strings and Staccato.
It is a lovely sound, and there’s four microphone positions. But the interface is a bit bewildering. The VST/app is also a front-end to their shop, conveniently.
Can’t find any documentation about CCs etc for making an Ex Map.
You can buy individual instruments from their collections, though, which is quite nice.
