My friend is looking for a free-standing electronic kick drum he can use for gigs. Is there anything that is “self-contained” so he won’t need a separate midi drum module or brain? Basically a Kick pad with basic sounds with an audio out for the PA?

If you’re UK based call ADC drumshop and ask for Colin (Koby drums) and see if he has anything. The guy makes ekits. Don’t like posting others’ numbers on general net but you’ll find ADC on ebay, “ADC drums” in search engine etc.
