Free version of Dorico 6.1.10 crash on ipad when loading 21 players

Dear all,
I purchased Dorico Elements for Mac and currently I am running version 5.1.81.2225 since my MacBook does not meet the requirements for version 6. I have a partiture with 21 players and wanted to use the iPad version to exploit the valuable proofreading feature. The partiture is loaded appropriately but then the app crashes. I expect this being due to the limitation of the free version being for 9 players. Perhaps would it be possible instead of crashing to simply provide a message “sorry this is not possible with the free version”.?

I have splitted the score into 3 parts, and loaded them individually with the same iPad and there were no crashes. According to the proofreading feature of Dorico 6 there were no problems with the score (that could have caused the crash).

Therefore this is not a bug report but a feature request

I think the expected behaviour is that scores larger than the free version can accommodate are opened as “read-only”. A crash is never “intentional” behaviour.

This is a bug report! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
