i’m quite new in this Business and i’m looking for a free, easy-to-use VST Compressor for
my Cubase LE5 on OS X 10.9. Any recommendations ?

Best solution when looking for any type of instrument or EFX.
A giant database with probably everything that ever has been made in it.
If you want a free compressor, just add the tag “free” in “pricing”.
You will probably get dozens of results.
Pick the more recent ones, or those whit positive comments on them.
Same for free synths, samplers, effects, …
