so i upgraded to 8.5 recently and was shocked to find no proper grid in free warp mode. that renders the entire feature useless for anyone working with a swing or triplet feel. doing some research it seems as if this was possible in 7 and then was taken away for no reason. everybody complains - and steinberg still did not change a thing? this is terrible honestly.
ps: could i use my elicenser to run a cubase 7 version as well? i think going back would be worth it to me in this scenario.
