Freeze instrument

If I select the Freeze button Cubase freezes (ironic or what) If i go to the taskbar and click on the Cubase icon the freeze control is there but I can not access it? only the ‘X’ to close it down…

Is anyone else getting sick of the problems with Cubase 10 as its never ending…worse upgrade ever. I have an i7 PC with 32gb ram runs everything fine accept Cubase 10.
