Freeze position in 2nd window for playback

I was wondering if it’s possible when I hit play in the 1st window, the 2nd window stays at the same position I had it?

I am developing material from an earlier section and I want to lock the screen on that position so that I can keep looking at it. However, when I play back my new section, it jumps the other window to that position, and I have to scroll backward each time.

The current workaround is to save it as a separate Dorico file and open that in the background.

No, at the moment this isn’t possible, but it’s something that has been suggested before and we’re certainly thinking about how we might achieve it in future.
