Is there a way to freeze just the portion of a track within the loop region? If not, what is the simplest way to accomplish something similar?
I am trying to export individual regions from a longer track for use in another app, but unless I am missing something, it will only freeze the entire track. Since the track is quite long, the freeze takes a long time to complete, and then I have to resize and trim the resulting audio down to the couple of bars I am interested in exporting.
It seems like I could maybe route Cubasis to itself via Audiobus and record soloed regions that way, but I am looking for a way to do this quickly that also ensures the recorded bounds are exactly correct, etc.
