I’ve frozen a track in Cubase 14, but I don’t have the possibility to unfreeze the track
The options in the menu are greyed out.
Render in Place doesn’t work either for this track
Anyone a suggestion how to solve this problem?
After backing up the project, I’d try manually deleting the audio files of the tracks that are giving you trouble from the Freeze folder, then reopen the session.
Let’s see if that forces Cubase to do anything.
The frozen track gives me no option in the menu to delete it.
I manually deleted the audio files in the pool window, but the track maintains in my project. I don’t have any option to delete it. I only can disable the track.
By the way: this is a track with a modulator, made with the first version of Cubase 14.
If I try to freeze a track with a modulator in the current version of Cubase 14.0.20 I get a notification “You cannot freeze a track with modulators”.
So something changed in the freeze-option in the different version of Cubase.
Still … any suggestion?
By the way: I made a copy of a recent project without the freeze option and that is working fine.
