Freezing a cubase track crashes cubase

No matter how I slice it. I can freeze a track and cubase will crash.if I can freeze a track,I get no sound after the freeze takes place.

Any ideas?

What do you mean by “freeze a song”, please? Do you freeze a track? What track type?

Could you attach a crash/dump file, please?

Mac: macOS Console utility > User Reports folder (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
Win: Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps

I cannot freeze any single instrument track without cubase not responding.

Hi,

Are you on Mac or Windows?

Try to Solo the track first, then Freeze. Does it help?

I went right to rendering the midi. Ill try here in a bit to see.


Render works just as well i guess.
