Freezing on VST3 Scan - Virharmonic VSTs

Hi All,

I had trouble opening Cubase today after months of having no problems. It froze on the VST3 scan and woudn’t progress. I followed forum advice about Waves plugins without success and eventually, through elimination, I narrowed it down to Virharmonic’s Bohemian Viola and Bohemian Cello VSTs. Now, in a past project, I was able to use Bohemian Viola with no trouble at all.

I’m confused as to what may have changed that makes these two VSTs suddenly a problem. I tried to add them as instruments once Cubase opened, but then it just froze the whole program.

Any ideas of what I can try to get these working? They’re great libraries and had worked fine in the past, so something must have changed somewhere, but I have no idea what that something might be.

It seems to have something to do with me relocating the libraries earlier to make room. I just reinstalled them in thier former locations and now Cubase has loaded properly. Must have been trying to find something in its former place. All is well!
