Hi, I’ve been a Cubase user for a very long time. I’m currently on 10.5. I’ve also started using Nuendo 11 recently. Since early this year(2021) when I close a project, Cubase quits. I then have to turn off the UR824. Disconnect the power source, wait almost 20 to 30 secs for the white power light to go off completely. Then Turn the power out;et on and then switch on the UR824. Only then it will connect and show up in the ASIO device list on Cubase/Nuendo. This I feel happens if I have another app open on the PC. I check the Windows Event Viewer, and I see an ERROR and the reason is sometimes, WAVES, sometimes, Nuendo or Cubase, sometimes some other plugin that is not even open in the project.
I think this started happening after a firmware update to the UR824, but I can’t be sure about that.
My PC specs are i7 4770, 32GB RAM, GTX 1650, SSD OS and sample drives, 3.5 SATA data drives on WIndows 10 Pro 20H2 Build 19042.1052. All software/plugins on the machine are legal versions.
