Since I had been quite outspoken about the latest changes of NotePerformer, I want to share what can be done with the latest version 5.1.2 regarding wind band.
This march is 100% NotePerformer. I exported every player as an audio file and put them together in Cubase. Some EQ’ing was done, but nothing too heavy. I had to shorten some notes that were too long in the clash cymbals, but that’s about it.
(Saxophones hat their CC110 set to 1 so they would not be too screamy in this context.)
I’m sure there are many things that could be done to improve the overall sound of it (the attack of the trumpets sound a bit strange the more you listen to them), but for demonstration purposes that’s all I need currently.
