From trial version to regular version

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using the trial version of Cubase Elements 10.5
How should I behave when the final version, which I have just purchased, arrives?
Will I simply have to activate the license or instead uninstall the program, or even reload it?
I really hope I can leave everything as it is; projects, plugins installed, etc.

A second and final question:
Can you confirm the possibility of installing the Cubase Essential license from the beginning on a USB elicenser instead of on a soft elicenser?

Thanks brothers

Hi and welcome,

  1. Yes, you can just activate your Full version. That’s it. You don’t have to reinstall it. It’s the very same installer and executable, as the Trial.

  2. First you have to activate the license to the Soft-eLicenser. Then you can immediately transfer it to the USB-eLicense. Be aware, you cannot transfer it from the USB-eLicenser back to the Soft-eLicenser.

Thanks
