Full-bar rests spacing is broken

In this project file, where I imported XML, somehow all full-bar rests in the parts look like this with no spacing left and right. Any idea how to fic this? I havent touched Engraving → Note Settings yet and even after resetting the Layout this remains.

Impossible to tell without seeing the file itself. Are there System Breaks?

The key to importing XML is actually to reduce the number of things that Dorico pays attention to, so that it can use its own settings and options, rather than obeying what’s in the file, by using manual overrides.

There are no system breaks in place.

Here you can see the issue in the part “Flöte” bars 44, 47, 52 and 56

You have “ends voice” property enabled on each note right before the problem… Untick it and solved.

You could also just select the whole part and reset the ends voice property. (This saves you having to find every instance).

This is what I did, actually, but you need to have the proper setting in Preferences set like this.

In any case, I’d suggest having the XML import settings with as little options ticked as possible, to avoid importing “ends voice” properties…
