Nice, Vanhaije! I have a question for you. I really like your tones. Sometimes you use a Les Paul. I was not enjoying my Les Paul, especially on the bridge pickup, because it was too shrill. Then I read that Les Pauls come from the factory with the pickups really high, because people expect a lot of output. So I lowered my pickups (neck and bridge), and I’m really enjoying the tone a lot more. Clearer, but still with a lot of sustain. Have you lowered your pickups? Also, have you raised the pole pieces to match the radius of the neck? Haven’t done that one yet. Got any hints?
