Functions mapped to midi keys

Amateur here, trying to use my Deepmind 6 synth as a midi controller in Cubase Artist.

It works fine except a couple of keys on the keyboard do unexpected things. B flat (3rd octave) in particular doesn’t play the note but deletes the track instead.C4 brings it back. I suppose these keys must somehow be triggering a shortcut, but I can’t really tell where to change that.

Any suggestions?

That sounds like what can occur if you have a Generic Remote where it’s MIDI In is listening to the keyboard. In general never use All MIDI In for Generic Remotes - the most common error when this happens. Or potentially the new MIDI Remote - but you’d probably know about it if you set that up.
