I would like to step input not only note but also velocity.

For example,

Write mode
shiftt+n
(numpad)6 \<-change duration
C (upper)80 \<-Velocity 80
D (upper)90 ← Velocity 90
E (upper)100 ← Velocity 100

or

Play mode
When clicking velocity edit box,
(numpad)/ select all (same Ctrl+a)
(numpad). velocity input and play note and select note moves next and select all velocity edit box
(numpad)\* velocity input and play note and select note moves down and select all velocity edit box
(numpad)+ Velocity up
(numpad)- Velocity down

or

Note select
V 80 ← input Velocity 80

I’d certainly be up for some means of being able to change velocity in Write mode.

I’d far, far rather look at a Score while editing than a Piano Roll.

This sounds like a candidate to appear in the Properties, like duration offsets or even muting.
