For easy “Sidechain” ducking I like to use the Cubase stock plugin FX Modulator.
My feature request: For a future update I wish there where a frequency band setting to only affect the lower portion of a bass or synth with the fx. Just like in Kickstart 2 or Volume Shaper. This would allow to only use the stock plugin for these purposes.
I know there is a “Filter Bank” setting in the plugin that can be turned on but it does not seem do what I described above. If you set a lower frequency to be affected by the fx, the upper frequency should not be affected at all by anything and come through as original signal. But it does not. In other words it does not work like the band setting of Kickstart 2 or Volume Shaper 2. If there is a way to get this done pls. let me know. Then my request is pointless
