On the Avast forum there were lots of complaints of unresponsive/hanging pc’s after this optional MS update was installed.
In the meantime Avast has pushed a new update which updates the following file from .712 to .722
(C:\Windows\System32\drivers\aswsnx.sys should have version 10.0.2208.722 or higher)
This update will be installed automatically. Just check after some time if .722 is installed.
First results from Avast Forum members are positive after .722 was installed.
