Hi Alexey_Batura,
Unfortunately, the manual is wrong here. By choosing “Keep Local FX”, all effects in Groove Agent will stay active but won’t be transferred to the Cubase MixConsole.
I will report the issue to our manuals department. Thank you for the hint.
Cheers,
Jan
Oh, no, no, no ((( so this won’t work the way it used to work in Groove Agent 5?
But why?
It seems as a downgrade to me, it’s very important feature for me and out of everyone I know (((
this does seem like a backwards step…
Hi Guys,
This discussion was made due to technical reasons. We had the option to remove the function completely or redesign it like it is now. It may no longer be as convenient as before, but the function is still available.
Cheers,
Jan
Hopefully full functionality returns at some point.
My guess is, keeping two programs on different update cycles with 1:1 feature compatibility is tricky.
I think the best approach may be to, as many 3rd party VSTi developers do, release the FX sections of their instruments as separate VST plugins.
I might be missing something, but it seems that when i export the GA6 mixer to Cubase, it loses all the wonderfulness of shapers etc that are working on the samples? So the kit that sounded great before i exported it is light years away from that sound now. I just wanted an easy side chain into the Kicks..
This is a terrible backward step from Groove Agent 5. Previously I could export the mixer AND the effects to Cubase, render each track to audio and continue from there, with the rendered audio tracks containing all the effects that were in Groove Agent.
However, in Groove Agent 6 the rendered audio files are dry because the effects are no longer exported to the mixer. Surely this will be corrected pretty soon?
@Jan_Riesener
What do you mean by technical reasons?
Could you tell me more details?
I’m really disappointed ![]()
GA6 is not working correctly. Groove Agent 5 do a better job keeping all effects and transferring them to Mix Console
GA6 has new effects that are not part of Cubase and therefore can’t be transferred to the Mix Console anymore.
Definitely, -1 for GA6 Mixer and FX to Cubase integration with Cubase. It’s a real pity!
@Gerrit_Junge
Could you tell me exactly which new effects in GA6 are missing from the Cubase MixConsole?
What??? what effects are you referring to? they are the effects that were always there. If it is true that there is one or 2 new ones.
at least I don’t use this feature, but I want it to come back again, because it is useful and advances the work. Just as when working with so many drum channels we need a polarity reversal effect button or plugin, this is also very necessary and now we can mix several sounds in the same agent. (previously I used it with 2 or more agents,as necessary)
