So very common situation…I imagine…?
I program a beat. fire up groove agent and I’m scrolling through the kits auditioning the sounds
I find a kit I like… but then I think the snare sn’t quite right…
I liked the snare from the previous kit…?
So I really hope this is straight forward and easy process…
because if its not…it should be…
How do I pick an individual sample from another kit and bring it across into the kit I want to use?
I can’t find anything obvious like right-clicking the pad and it opening up a browser…
so I figure I have to open up the media browser to the right of groove agents and then dig into my hard drive and try to find the snare I require…
but where do you find the groove agent content…
And why is this not really straightforward…

ok i found it…for anyone else
you open the GA browser
and the individual samples are under the instrument tab
selecting the different sample names will audition them in place
dragging and dropping or double clicking will load them onto the pad…
also the samples on the hard drive are not accessible from a normal browser…
there buried in vst sound files which are presumably only accesible from inside GA…i guess to stop you using the samples in other instruments
or doing other things with them…
