GA6: Acoustic kig (agent?) missing?

I opened an older song that was made with GA5, it was using the “Acoustic Kit”

I can’t seem to find the Acoustic kit anymore. I have the others and re-installed GA5 content but still not there.

I did find a file called “FCP_SMT_152_GASE_Acoustic_Studio_Kit.vstsound”. I double clicked it and the library manager said it was already installed?

I have GA5 installed here AND I don’t see that kit listed anywhere.

well it’s there.

I also have GA5 and I don’t have, nor can I recall ever seeing, an “Acoustic Kit”.

There’s “The Kit” and “Studio Kit”, which are Acoustic Agent drum sets.

Can you post a screenshot showing the “Acoustic Kit”? That might help one of us track down where this kit is from.

I believe I understand the Op’s Question (and I’m not sure my answer is correct).

In GA6 when I load an Acoustic Agent Kit the related “Agent” i.e. Beat Agent, Acoustic Agent etc used to be shown at the top of GA6. Now, when you select a Acoustic Agent Kit i.e. Punch, Rock, Studio etc it shows that Kit’s Icon at the top of the screen rather than showing that it’s and Acoustic Agent’s icon.

I tried with Multi’s and single Kits but couldn’t seem to bring up that Acoustic Agent icon anywhere.

K - I always saw “Acoustic”, Studio, Vintage and Rock Kits.

Hi guys,

To bring some clarity here, in Groove Agent you have two types of Agents. Acoustic Agent and Beat Agent. For the Acoustic Agent there is the Studio Kit, Percussion Kit, The Kit, Rock Kit, etc. These Kits are different types of acoustic drum kits.

For the Beat Agent you’ll find different, genre-specific drum kits like you’ll find on a drum machine.

So technical speaking, it is named Acoustic Agent, not Acoustic Kit.

Cheers,
Jan

It’s not the Kit name displayed there, it’s the Agent name. Underneath, in much smaller letters, will be the preset name. The kit in this screenshot is The Rock Kit, with one of my own presets loaded.

This is the Nashville Kit.
