I think he means GR from any compressors that may be plugged in the track. A few DAWs seem to have this. And isn’t in the mixer, somewhere?

Personally I am still dreaming of being able to define two points on a channel’s signal chain. The level would be measured on each point and the delta displayed to me as gain reduction or boost.
Just a GR of a compressor would be not enough for me.

+1 Ireally would appreciate having this feature in Mixer View also. I think Protools has this implemented.

In my workflow I very often have to switch between input/output (pre/post fader) signal level meter on my tracks. Would be great to have extra small/narrow delta meter on each track next to the fader/main meter.

This would be awesome. It would skip past the only ‘stock’ plugins issue entirely. I use external hardware and this would also be included. A nice spectrum analyzer option would make this perfect, in my mind
