Gating in Cubase Elements 9.5

Hi
Can you use gating in Elements 9.5 to control other instruments i.e. say use the Kick track to gate the Bass track. I have had a good look but cannot see how to use the signal from one track to gate another or do I have to go Pro? :slight_smile:

Sidechaining is not possible the fast an easy way - therefore you need to get Pro or maybe artist.
