'GEN' option in plug in preferences crashing wavelab

Hey everyone
Im using wavelab 11.

I installed the recent Pro q4 PLUGIN. I was in my plug in preferences and ive accidently ticked / selected PRO Q3 & Q4 under the ‘GEN’ option. Since i did that.

  1. Both q3 & 4 wont open when i click the plug in my chain.
  2. Once ive done that, wave-lab basically starts glitching. Things wont open or load etc.
  3. I shut it down, re open. Went to de select the GEN ticked boxes and it wont un select. It has stayed selected. Once i click to try un select it.

It wont unselect and again, wavelab will then start glitching and not working at all

i closed wavelab
uninstlled pro q3 and q4
opened wavelab again - plugs ins were gone
re installed q3, q4
to only open wavelab again and the gen boxes were default ticked

and the unselecting and glitching remained

any assistance at all would be very appreciated
hope it made sense, happy to answer any quesitons

Try deleting this file:

Windows:
AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\WaveLab Pro 11\Preferences\PluginSettings.dat

Mac:
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences/WaveLab Pro 11/Preferences/PluginSettings.dat
