I would like to create pedal lines/retakes every half note within a selected range, and then fine-tune the pedal lines according to the context manually. Is there a quick way to do the first step?
I’ve not found a way to do what you describe - maybe others have. The process you describe would make a great script because distinct parameters could be set. If we only had more functionality in the scripting capability …
You can ctrl-click all the target notes and set the pedal retakes on them all in a single operation.
Suppose the score is in a time of 4/4, is there a way to select all notes that at the beginning of each bar and at the 3rd beat of each bar within a selected range of bars quickly?
No. Some form of rhythmic filter like this has been requested in the past.
It would be great if the entire “Advanced Filter” feature in Sibelius could appear in Dorico (but with a better UX)…
