Generic Remote Question

Hey Everyone, what is the difference between the “Mixer” and the “VST Mixer”? They seem to have the same exact functionality.

I wonder that too

It has to do with what types of channels can be selected/controlled. The MIDI Mixer can only select MIDI Channels, the VST Mixer can only select audio type channels (including audio inputs, group, and FX) and the Mixer can control all of them.

Is there any advantage to using the VST mixer other than having to look through less tracks?

Hi,

VST Mixer has some more Commands. Regarding to Channels, I would expect some more Channels in the VST Mixer. For example Channels (Busses) like Cues, Talkback, etc. But I’m not in Cubase right now.
