Generic Remote Tempo control

Cubase Pro 10: Remote Devices > Generic Remote have lost Transport > Device > Tempo.

As I see from this forum, this is an old and still unresolved issue inherited from previous versions.

For me it is the most frequently used feature – I tap the tempo by foot pedal, calculate the average time and send recalculated NPRN to set the project Tempo.

Please, return it back.

Confirmed here, I dont see a way around this yet and I am trying here

So how is one to hit a pedal to adjust tempo in a live situation if Cubase doesn’t respond to Tap Tempo?
