Testing this thing out…
Every time I record a file, with the red LED light on so that it’s set to create multiple files per take (in my case 2 red lights for both the “mic” and “instr” tracks, both of which I’ve set to mono), the “Get HD” number simply increases by 2 - EVEN IF I’ve already fetched the HD files from previous takes.
So, for instance, the first take, it shows up as 3 HD files available (the stereo mix, and the 2 mono tracks). I fetch them. All good. The next take, it tells me that there are 5 HD files available (the stereo mix, and 4 mono tracks)…
But check this out… instead of those 4 mono tracks being the 2 new ones + the 2 old ones from the previous take, it just sends me 4 mono tracks of the current take - and they’re just stacked on top of each other, not put into lanes.
So, after 10 takes, say, it tells me it has 21 HD tracks to send me.
Again, even if I’ve already fetched the HD files from previous takes.
Man, 2020 is so cray.
