I had a trial of Halion 7, now deactivated. How do I get rid of all these unusable sounds from Halion Sonic? I’ve searched all possible folders. Re-installed Halion Sonic but with no joy
Hi @vofn,
you can remove any non-purchased HALion Sonic 7 Collection content files systematically by:
- first adding the library name column in Media Bay, then
- sorting all Media Bay library entries of HALion Sonic 7, then
- finding the name of a content pack and - finally - by
- de-registering (or deleting) all related package files in Steinberg Library Manager:

Hi @vofn,
thank you. Well, since I don’t drink, you could perhaps click the “Solution” button, and I might get drunk on happiness within a millisecond! (just joking… glad that my post did actually help you…)
Cheers,
Markus
Hi!
Just tried to do the same, but I got this message and stopped, for I’m afraid of losing something useful in the process. Is it safe to remove this?
Thanks!
figuring out steinberg stuff will drive someone to drink!!
Just don’t drink and drive. Some have figured it out. Some have problems.
