I have a Cubase 15 file I’ve been using for orchestration using mostly Garritan and a little Halion SE. My file has many tracks, and quite a few synth tracks that I didn’t end up using. Is there a way for me to delete these unused tracks in a way that buys me back memory (so the file doesn’t have so much overhead)? As my file has gotten bigger over the weeks I have noticed some glitchy behavior that goes away by restarting my Scarlett 4i4 - I’m suspecting my project my be a bit of a ram-hog with empty synth tracks.
Hi,
If you are using Instrument Tracks, just Remove the given Instrument Tracks.
If you are using Rack Instrument F11, open it and set the Instrument Slot to No Instrument.
